If you don't want to have people coming to your house, then how about selling some of those smaller items that you have online. There are a handful of sites that you can list your items on their site. You put in the lowest bid that you're willing to except and let the bidding war begin.
For those items that are too big for you to ship across the country, try looking for the local website in your city that you can list the items and avoid the shipping charges.
If those ideas don't seem to tickle your fancy, then maybe you might want to start a dog walking business. Hang flyers around the neighborhood to see if you can drum up some extra cash.
